At just three years old, Shrishti Kumari has already faced battles most adults would struggle to imagine. While other children her age are learning rhymes and chasing toys, Shrishti spends her days in hospital corridors, fighting a disease that tried to steal her childhood—eye cancer .Her story began two years ago when her parents noticed something unusual in her eyes. What started as a small worry soon turned into endless hospital visits, tests, and finally, a diagnosis that shook their world.
Since then, Shrishti has been on a difficult journey of chemotherapy and treatment. Strong medicines like Carboplatin, Etoposide, and Vincristine names too heavy for a little child have been flowing into her fragile body. Each cycle comes with weakness, nausea, and the risk of infections. She needs regular blood tests (CBC, LFT, RFT) and supportive injections like G-CSF just to help her tiny body recover from the harsh drugs.
And yet, she smiles. Even after long hours of drips, even after painful procedures, Shrishti clutches her toy and whispers to her mother, “Am I getting better?” Her courage at such a tender age is nothing short of inspiring.
Her parents, though heartbroken, continue to fight alongside her. They travel miles for every follow-up, manage hospital stays, and try to gather resources for her treatment. For a family with limited means, the cost of medicines, hospital care, and constant tests is overwhelming. But they have not given up hope.
Shrishti’s fight is not just about surviving cancer—it’s about saving her vision, her future, and her chance at a normal childhood. She deserves to go to school without pain, to run around without weakness, and to see the world she dreams of.
She is only three. Her story is just beginning. With timely support and compassion, her next chapter can be filled with life, laughter, and light.
