URGENT APPEAL
A newborn baby, just one month old is fighting for survival in the hospital. At this tender age, when she should be enjoying the warmth of her mother’s embrace, he is instead lying in the NICU, surrounded by tubes, machines, and doctors struggling to keep her alive.
He has been diagnosed with Septicemia (blood infection) — a severe and life threatening condition that spreads rapidly in newborns. Each passing minute is critical, and immediate treatment is the only hope to save her little life.
Parents’ Dreams Shattered
For the parents, the birth of their baby was the happiest moment of their lives. But their joy has turned into pain and fear. Every time they hear their baby cry in pain, their hearts break a little more.
The father, a low-income worker, is struggling to arrange money for the rising medical expenses. The mother, already weak after delivery, is devastated to see her tiny child in such a critical condition. They have spent all their savings, borrowed money from relatives, and sold belongings. Still, the hospital bills continue to rise, and the cost of treatment has become unbearable.

The doctors are trying their best to save the baby, but they have clearly said that *continuous NICU care, strong antibiotics, blood tests, and emergency support are non-negotiable. Without them, the infection may spread further, leading to organ failure. The treatment cost is running into lakhs of rupees, and stopping treatment even for a day could put the baby’s life at serious risk.
